Ms. Snow’s experience spans public accounting, defense contracting, financial services, consumer product manufacturing, construction, and clean-tech. She has led HR, IT, Finance & Accounting, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Contracting in her various roles and proved her mettle in taking challenged companies through difficult operational and financial turnarounds, resulting in the profitable sales of many of these corporations. The challenges she has successfully addressed in these roles include: senior management turnover, navigating through the evolving and complicated Defense Contracting process, implementing critical strategic planning, as well as thorough financial and operational turnarounds.
Ms. Snow is an expert in Corporate Governance extending from the Board Room, through the Executive Suites, to all Stakeholders. For her courageous and strategic work as a board member of Maxim Systems, Ms. Snow has been recognized and presented with the prestigious Director of the Year award by the Corporate Directors Forum.
She serves as Chief Restructuring Officer of privately held companies where she has implemented successful corporate turnarounds, and co-managed the restructuring in excess of $250 million in debt for her clients. In other situations, Ms. Snow has served as the Chief Financial Officer and/or Chief Operating Officer as she guided those entities from relatively flat performance to strong financial results, enabling the owners to ultimately realize optimal valuations when they execute their exit strategies.
Ms. Snow began her professional career and earned her CPA at KPMG in Boston, where she spent 4 years in the Tax Department before leaving for a variety of CFO, President and other leadership roles in private industry. Defense contractors, CleanTech and High Tech corporations in Southern California include AP Labs, Desal Systems, and TTTech Austria. As an active director of numerous public (Basin Water), private (LCMS Solutions, Highbury Defense, GET Engineering, Randall &Sons, Inc., RedHorse, TAC Financial) and non-profit corporate Boards, she normally serves on Audit, Nominating, and/or Governance committees.
Ms. Snow is published in nationally recognized publications such as Accredited Members, and is an effective communicator who is frequently invited to speak as a lecturer or a panel member. Finally, Ms. Snow gains the highest level of professional satisfaction by serving as a mentor and collaborator for younger professionals. Ms. Snow holds a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Music degree and a Master of Science in Accounting, successfully changing careers from concert pianist to strategic business executive. And, to keep her wits about her, Ms. Snow is an avid cyclist, an Alpine hiker and a lover of live classical music performances.
